I've used a planner for the past few years, and I think I'm happy with the outcome. For this year, I conducted an experiment of sorts. What if I didn't use a planner? (the one that I've used has a money tracker sheet) Suffice to say, it didn't turn out pretty. It was a costly experiment. I got by in my work by scribbling them on my notepad, but as it turned out, it wasn't enough. So for 2015, I'll be going back to a life of order, and got myself a planner, the one I've buying for three straight years (2009 and 2010 were DIY planners).
The Belle de Jour Power Planner was introduced to me by a friend from church. She was a busy girl, and the BDJ planner helped her keep track of her tasks. Since it was a bit too late for me to buy one, I made do with the student edition (at that time, I was a full-time student), but I made up my mind to get the (grown up) Belle de Jour Power Planner the following year. I've bought one since--except for this year.
At that time, the Campus BDJ was sold for one semester, and another one was being sold for the following one. I decided to buy one for the second semester, but still bought the grown up version for 2011.
So, what's inside a BDJ planner? There's a money tracker, health tracker, and yes, even a menstrual tracker. Clickety-click here for a sneak preview! It also comes with a separate booklet for discount coupons--yay! Here's the 2015 planner.
I'm really, really looking forward to December. They've included space for December 2014, which means I don't have to wait until January next year to be able to use it! For 2015, I've bought the leather cover version, since the inside flap lasts longer than the paper-smythe sewn one. Which is perfect, because I do tend to cram in things that I want to keep (sentimental stuff, mainly).
So, I'm ready, December. ;)
